Fitting professional development into a MILP schedule

Via Corporette, this is a useful list of professional development ideas for working moms from I Am Moms. Sometimes I struggle with taking the time out of my work and family life for professional development and networking, but it's a necessary part of what we do and there are some good ideas here. (And I totally agree with networking within parent circles -- turns out that most of the women in the working moms group I started have pretty high-powered jobs!)
